Devised adn produced by Sandy Kelly the show traces the musical history of one of the "all thme great" female artists Patsy Cline.
Cline's music crossed many divides. Although she was considered a country music artist it wasn't long before her records crossed over into pop and jazz charts of the time and made her a multi million seller and a household name around the world. Timeless sonds like
Crazy, Walking after Midnight, Your Cheating Heart etc., coupled with a voice of pure feeling and quality has made Patsy Cline the icon she is today.
Tragically killed in a plane crash in 1963 her music and style is still as fresh and appealing 46 years on.
The star of thie year's production is one of Ireland's best lover singers Barbara Ellis. Barbara will be no stranger to UL audiences as for many years she starred along side Gearge Hamilton IV and Sandy Kelly in several productions, including Patsy Cline the Concert, across the UK and Ireland at the Eurovision Son Contest in the 80's. Barbara has toured and shared the stage with such greats as Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Tammy Wynette to name but a few.
Backed up by A truly wonderful 6 piece band "Patsy Cline the Conert" will bring you on a magical journey of some of the greatest and best loved songs of all time. THis is dfinitely a Show not to be missed.
