The 1st Bristol Cider Festival is a new event for the cider drinkers of
Bristol. Building on the massive success of the three Bath Cider Festivals,
CiderFestival.co.uk have booked the awesome Brunel Passenger Shed at the
British Empire & Commonwealth Museum, Temple Meads, Bristol BS1 6QH for what
promises to be an epic two-day cider festival.

On offer will be over 80 ciders and perries including award-winning ciders
from Rich's and Heck's (Somerset), Gwatkin (Herefordshire), Gwynt Y Ddraig
(Wales), Mr Whiteheads (Hampshire) and the Cornish Cyder Company (Cornwall).

Advanced tickets are on sale now, priced £6.00. Any unsold tickets will be
made available on the door - but buying your tickets in advance is highly
recommended as over 500 people were turned away at the doors at the 2008
Bath Cider Festival, which sold out on both days.

As well as the cider and perry, the Bristol Cider Festival will offer the
best in local entertainment. Meat Loaf 'Heaven & Hell' tribute show will be playing on both Friday sessions.

And no CiderFestivals.co.uk event will be complete without some nourishment.
As always, food - in the shape of a dozen or so hog roasts and all the
hotdogs you could desire - will be served up by Chris Lilley Catering.
